The Listserv is our Network's primary means of sharing resources, professional learning opportunities, events, and more.
What's a Listserv?
A Listserv is a method of communicating via email. Once you sign up, you can send one email to farmtoschool@list.uvm.edu, and that message will automatically be sent to all subscribers. Likewise, you receive all messages that anyone in the group sends, and everyone can chat back and forth. Typically there are one or two emails per week.
Topics range from upcoming professional learning programs to questions about school gardens, questions about best practices to job opportunities. Consider it a community bulletin board sent straight to your inbox.
How to Join
Fill out our form, and we will add you within a few days. You will receive a message with a confirmation link to activate your subscription.
How to View Past Conversations
For the archive of past conversations, visit list.uvm.edu. On the right side, choose "get password," follow the steps, check your email, and log in. To find our specific Listserv, type "farmtoschool" in the search box. You'll then be able to see a list of months and the latest messages in the top box.
How to Leave the Listserv
The farm to school Listserv is a self-managed email list, so you must unsubscribe yourself if you no longer want to receive communications from this group. To unsubscribe, send the command "list unsubscribe FARMTOSCHOOL" to listserv@list.uvm.edu, placing your command in the body of the message. Make sure your "from" address is the one you want removed from the list. Full details here.
